The story of Headquarters begins in 1870. This historic building was originally constructed as Minges Hardware Store, remaining operational until the 1950s. Over the years, the building was used for many different purposes, including repairing slot machines during Newport’s Sin City era. We (Mike & Lindsey) purchased the building in 2015, with the vision to restore it back to its former 1800s glory. After about 3 years of blood, sweat, and tears, we completed our restoration and received a historic preservation award for the project!

The building features a historic storefront, rustic hardwood floors, original tin ceilings, with warm exposed brick.

The entire wedding industry has changed away from inviting 200-300 guests and spending $100,000 on a wedding. Our goal in creating Headquarters was to fill a void in the Cincinnati wedding market for an intimate, fully customizable, 100 person wedding venue that allowed you to have your dream wedding day without breaking the bank!

At Headquarters, we allow you to bring in your own personalized decorations, hire any caterer/vendors of your choosing, and provide your own alcohol for guests. We include all of the tables, chairs, tablecloths, centerpieces, lounge furniture, cocktail tables, sound system, coolers, ice, as well as tons of other helpful amenities. All of our wedding bookings include full day venue and bridal suite access from 8AM-12AM and everything at Headquarters is included in our online advertised pricing.
